Realistic Mach Two

I have a pair of Mach Two 40-4032. The caps values and measurements are; 1) 33uf - 37.78, 2) 2.2uf - 2.4, 3) 2.2uf - 2.4, 4) 4.7uf - 5.5, 5) 4.7uf - 5.5, 6) 8uf - 10.

What are the tolerance for the caps?

Thanks everyone again for your help.

Do you mean what are the original tolerances? I don’t know, but that’s quite a gap with what you have there. A lot of those values are fairly expensive to replace with good ones.
That said, those are some pretty sweet speakers and if they sound dissimilar and the drivers are all working, I’d replace them for starters with the value stated on the side of the cap.

yes, just wondering if they were 1,5 or 10% tolerance. I am going to replace them and compare the sound difference, if any, of each speaker.

Just guessing, 10%.
There might be a code on the caps that would indicate tolerance.
Got any pictures of the caps that are clear enough to maybe determine the tolerance?

Yeah, before my previous post I went to ebay, found a mach 2 crossover for sale, and used zoom to see if I could find any type of code. Turns out the ebay ones were same as yours and I could see no code. Was kind of hoping maybe yours did have a code. Back then some speaker caps had 20% tolerance so I think 10% was a reasonable guess on my part.
You should be fine with the Daytons, I suspect they're much better than the caps you replaced.

My experience with the Dayton 5% are actually very close to 1%. Pretty nice really. They are substantially larger than electrolytics so you’ll need to account for that in the layout. EDIT: I see that you did. What do you think of them now?

I’m so jealous she f you guys with these Mach1,2,3 speakers…. I used to go to Radio Just to stare at them.
