Between BmWr75 and Zilch I finally have the excuse I've wanted for years to rebuild this pair of Realistic MC-1000's:
The cabinets actually look better in person than in the photo.
BmWr75, your photo filenamed IMG_0877_small.jpg was the 'missing link' as to how you solved the baffle replacement problem. All the other photos you provided are appreciated, as well.
Zilch, did you said that going from a (if memory serves) .38 cuft to .5 cuft cabinet affected the specifications in some way (maybe reducing the maximum wattage rating?)? How much more is it affected going up to the larger box of the MC1000 (.7 cuft give, or take, by my measurements)?
Working on a pair of ADC 303a in another thread right now. I'll post here as I go on the MC1000's.
