Realistic Minimus vs Optimus Speakers - Basic Differences?

I know there are some posts here on A.K. when comparing Minimus vs Optimus speakers. It looks like they might be identical except for the country of origin?

I have a pair of Optimus Pro 77 speakers. These have a 5" woofer - but not just any ole 5" woofer. The max frame diameter for the woofer can be no more that 130mm. So finding replacement woofers is VERY CHALLENGING. I tried using a Pyle PMDR5 but that speaker is horrifically bad. So the speakers sit idle.

And this brings me to my question... what is the difference between an Optimus Pro 77 (40-2057) vs Minimus 77 (40-2055)? Other than branding and where made, does anyone know if the cabinet and stock speaker might be the same?

And what about Optimus vs Minimus speakers in general? Anyone seen some type of equivalent chart or thread?

Here is what the woofer in a minimus 77 looks like. They are subject to foam rot. Replacement surrounds are available. Don't know if it's the same as used in the optimus. If the optimus pro is ported, probably not the same.

I believe it is. The speaker frame is somewhat unique - design to sit in the cutout of the speaker face. I cannot find a replacement for it. So the only option is to buy donor speakers and in most cases, perform the Foam replacement.
