Realistic Nova 7B Tweeters

I recently acquired a pair of Realistic Nova 7B speakers, but one of the speakers has a problem. I can't hear anything sound coming out of two tweeters. Knowing very little about speaker repair, I removed the both tweeters and measured the resistance. Both tweeters measured 16ohms.

I swapped both tweeters and speakers and the bad pair were still dead while the good pair produced sound in both speakers.

On both bad tweeters, I noticed that the back brass magnetic cap has separated from the rest of the speaker. Is this my problem? Can this be repaired or do I need to replace both tweeters?

Yes, this is almost definitely your problem. Pictures would help to tell if it's repairable, but all pieces of the magnet are necessary for the tweeter to work.
 
I glued one back together that was damaged in shipment and it worked just fine. Clean it off and use a little epoxy. You have nothing to lose.

I suspect that speaker was dropped and there may be further damage to the speakers than you can see. Time to search eBay. The Realistic Optimus 1b uses the same drivers BTW to expand your search.
 
Keep watching online, replacements will show up, I have a pair of the same speakers, had same issue, took about a month and I got 2 tweeters in 1 buy.
