Thoughts on value ? Will need some wood refinishing, intact however. Offered for $25

My comparison would be to DCM CX-27 and Realistic Minimus-26, both operating in home now.

I personally like RS stuff. It tends to be under-appreciated, but the cabinets are good solid veneer and they sound pretty good for mid-fi. For $25 you could do much worse. I'd pick the up and give the a try, you don't have much to loose.

Keep the volume at a reasonable level. Use them in a smallish room and you'll find they have a very satisfying sound.

I love my 7Bs. I run them off of a Technics SU-600. A sweet litlle set-up. Eddantes nailed it when he said "satisfying". Good looking speaker as well.
