Yes thats a very good deal on a decent pair of speakers. Similar to KLH 5. SOme of Radio Shacks better offerings. Look in pretty good shape too. Should be easy to sand out those marks, reoil the cabs and be sitting pretty.

I sent the guy an email with an offer abit more than the $5 he has listed. I'll be curious to see if he responds.

Many times I have seen here someone mentioning that Craigslist rules prohibit auction style, no firm price type, listings. I don't list stuff that way myself, but I have looked at the Craigslist rules and didn't see anything like that. Did I just overlook something?

Free my ARSE. He will milk it out. Hope nobody shows up for them. Why can't they put a damn price on it and sell to the 1st person that shows up?

I was going to post this last night until I realized he was running an auction. Then I flagged it.

Evidently you have seen what I overlooked. Where exactly can I find this prohibition? I'm curious to read it myself.

I wondered about the way that ad was written. I got a response to my email to the seller this morning. Said he sold them for $35 to a guy in Lexington, KY. I would have to agree they wouldn't be free...LOL.

I found this in their faq.

No - craigslist is not an auction site. If you have something to offer, please post a set price. Please do not scalp or solicit bidding contests on craigslist, and do not link to offsite auctions on eBay or elsewhere

Thanks, I would never have found that buried in there. I would have thought they'd have put it in the Terms of Use section.

Deleted by author. Noting left. Hope you got them. I'm closer than you are and I was seriously looking to see what they were.

I was going to ask what the skinny dog in your avatar was but looked at your moniker. I got it now.

They are great dogs!

Nope, I missed them. He sold them shortly after posting the ad or so his email said.

My avatar is a pic of my "dog from hell", King. Even at 12 years old when he died he never lost the desire to run flat out.
