Picked up a realistic STA receiver tryiing replace bad transistor I have no schematic

part number on transistor is D1046 ita an audio out put transistor one of four

can anyone supply a cross or real part no


any help will be appreciated

Realistic is Radio Shack brand. Doesn't Radio Shack have a cross refference? Normal practice is that you should replace output transistors in pairs. If one is shorted, say in the left channel, then you should replace both in the left channel. My cross refference book is buried in storage somewhere, so maybe someone else will come up with something! PS, also check the driver transistor in the same channel the bad one came out of.

pop a fuse play fine for a couple of days goodwill fine. great tuner !! 50 wpc

I think its worth fixing

might want to try the yahoo group for realistic stuff

Sometimes adding 2S to the number will give you the part number,
Like 2SD1046 see if this helps.
