RealTone 4355 Stereo Receiver...

Was that a kit-receiver or something? Never seen one like that before. I don't see a logo on that faceplate anywhere. How does it sound? Since you have what looks like a Marantz 2220B sitting behind it, I assume you're no stranger to good-sounding, well-built receivers, so this must be pretty-decent.

Which Technics turntable is that in your avatar? (I think it's a Technics)

Hi, Thanks, it is a low end Plastic RealTone Multiplex Receiver. It has a phono and tape input too. I am guessing Ceramic input? Sounds pretty good for and older model. The flash outshined the logo. I will take another picture.

I need the volume pot, the knob tabs broke off the front when I tried to bend it straight again.:tears:

I remember that!

Hi,

That was a stereo I drooled after in the RS catalog when I was a child! Always like the look of it. Never heard it though. Brings back memories. It was sold with a set of speakers for $59.95 IIRC.

I think its a SL-B200, I sold it once and when they unpacked it they broke the tonearm. I have it back, it needs repair.:scratch2:

This will be a good learning receiver to work on. There are few parts and if it blows up, the lost is minimum.

The right channel sounds great!

Done for now.. by jleon92f, on Flickr

Cleaned up a bit...have to fix the knob cosmetics.

Thanks,
