Reasonable price range for COMMERCIAL Klipschorn?

I'm trying to help out a guy I do some contract work for. He just picked up a pair of early-1970s Klipschorns- the type that would have gone into a night club or theater or such. These are the ones with no grills, and no side panels, and are "basic black". They have the K400/K55V mid horns, and the square-magnet K77 tweeters.

I've been having a surprising amount of difficulty, in finding ANY reference to anyone selling a pair of these- the COMMERCIAL Klipschorns- in ANY condition. These are certainly not "mint"- they've been used for many years in their intended application, and stored for a number of years afterward. Apparently, they came from a New York night club originally (no, I don't think it was the Loft, unfortunately :) ), and the guy he got them from was apparently the original club owner.

Anyone got any ideas on reasonable price range? As-is, one of the horn drivers is incorrect (someone subbed in a Peavey 22A at some time, but we're looking for a correct K55 for it), and as I alluded to above- the woodwork isn't perfect. Not bad, but definitely having seen some wear and tear over the years...

Any help on this appreciated.

Gordan, you are describing the decorator khorns, which normally fall into the $400 to $800 range. They were often used hard and collect lots of scars. They Also have a facade only a mother could love.
