Recap a Pioneer CT-F1250

Just picked up a CT-F1250 from eBay $150. Very Very clean unit..So my first look over and noticed the Belts need replacement..Broken and gooey.

I just ordered the belt kit from http://www.wjoe.com/vintageandantiques.htm

So I was thinking..Since I just recapped a SX-1050, why not the CT-F1250.

So the 1st question...Has anyone recap a CT-F1250?

2nd: I will be sending out the Pinch-Rolls to Terry Witt.

Thanks...Going over the thread now...

I will use the info as a guide and start to document what I am doing since these are two different units. What I did on the SX-1050 was create a Speadsheet on the OLD caps and New caps (Values, Part #, http link, etc).

As Mark said..."To Boldly Go were no one..."

Well...I installed NEW belts and the unit(which was un-tested) will not play tapes.

When I put a tape, Solenoid (B) goes up then down. Also, both Supply pully(B) are always running.

What to do now???
