Recapping SG-9500, substitute for Q11 (2SK30A) on EQ boards?

I've put together my list for recapping my SG-9500, but I've come up short searching for a cross-reference to the 2SK30A transistor. Does anyone have a recommended substitute? I've got everything else. I did find a place that has the actual 2SK30A (B&D Enterprises), but I'm looking to avoid buying just those there and spending a crap load on shipping. (I usually get all my stuff from mouser).

Thanks in advance!

Those are NOT preemptively replaced, and more and more of those transistors are going the way of the dodo.

It is used as a muting gate in that unit. If the muting isn't working, then replace it.

I hoard my remaining Mouser supplies of those, only using them when absolutely necessary - not preemptively

PLUS there is no advantage to doing the preemptive replacements with this part.

Mark, thanks for the fast reply, I appreciate it! I will heed your advice, and leave the 2SK30A's untouched. My recap is for longevity purposes, and the unit functions as it should. (As much as it shows me, anyway. I haven't done precise testing and measuring, but judging only from use.)(Cutting or boosting each freq, etc)

Thanks again!

Jeff
