Put your meter on AC and check the AC voltage at pins 25 and 26.pin 6 is 0
Put your meter on AC and check the AC voltage at pins 25 and 26.pin 6 is 0
Make sure you put one meter lead on 25 and the other meter lead on pin 26 when you check the AC voltage. Polarity here does not matter. You are checking AC voltage.Put your meter on AC and check the AC voltage at pins 25 and 26.
No problem. Everyone makes mistakes.I feel so stupid!!! And I feel this is going to come back and haunt me . The receiver wasn't plugged in. HAHA... i'll take new measurements and post them.
Ok, whats the voltage on the collector of Q2?pin 6. 50.74
Check for DC voltage on the collector of Q2 now.between pin 25 and 26 I get 98.7AC
Seems like a trace is cracked. You need to follow the copper trace on the collector of Q2 back to the bridge rectifier. That trace is more than likely broken somewhere. Also look for a bad solder joint at the collector and at the bridge rectifier. Can you check for voltage on the negative side of the bridge? The bridge is made up of 4 diodes. D1, D2, D3 and D4. Check for -60 volts on the anode of D1 and D3.-0.34
Set your meter to AC and put one lead on the cathode of D1 and the other lead on the cathode of D3. Tell me what the voltage is.checked all solder joints back to c3 and they all read -0.34 . D1 0 , D2 .36 , D3 0 , D4 .36. All measurements were taken on Neg side.
OK and still no voltage on pins 13, 14 and 15? If no voltage then replace Q2. But before you do that, tell me what the voltage is on the base of Q2.Q2 collector is -67.3
