Receiver to power my JBL 4410s?

My H/K 3480 died and I'm looking for a sub $300 receiver to replace it. I will be running a pair of JBL 4410s through it. These two are at the top of the list currently:

Does anyone have any experience with either? Perhaps some other recommendations? Thanks in advance!

If I were in your shoes, I'd buy the Yamaha.

Your three-year-old HK just died, and Harman is an evil company. Well, maybe not evil, but they're outsourcing JBL to Mexico right now, so I'm not interested in spending money at Harman.

Er...your money.

Anyway, I've owned both Yamaha and HK, though not the models in question. If I had to choose, I'd go with the Yamaha. Variable loudness is cool, and might help to fatten up those 4410s a little. I had 4410s for a while, too, and they sounded great on my old Yamaha RX-V870. Great sounds.
