receivers and cans

just picked up a pair of Pioneer SE-205s and several receivers.

The cans cost $5, so I plugged them in to a Yamaha R2000 when I got home. Now, I am going to test the receivers to see what works. (A Technics SA-5570, Sansui 441 and a 8080DB.)

Should I expect dramatic differences as the receiver wattage decreases?

the amps wattage for speakers are completely different compared to milliwatts of headphones,so no you will not expect any difference for that reason. you might expect power differences cause each of your receivers using a different pair of resistors between the headphone output and power amp section resulting in different output impedance of each receiver. also will notice difference in sound depending on how far different each amp's topology design is from one another.
