Recommendations for a Solid State Amplifier kit?

I've been looking for a "decent" SS amp kit to build, any recommendations?
Perhaps something with about 50+ wpc and maybe some tone controls? Thanks!

The AKSA modules get pretty good reviews; I had a neighbor who used them and raved about them.

The AKSA's look like a great kit... but for 350.00 US.... sheesh. You can buy a tube amp kit for about that much! Might just have to etch my own boards and build one from scratch!

What is the difference between Class A, B, and AB amplifiers??

Thanks for the links... it makes a bit more sense now. Is there a definite class that is better or does it just depend on the construction and design?

AB is much more efficient than A (power wasted as heat is much decreased). Class A should eliminate any chance of "crossover" or "notch" distortion.
