Recommendations for a table with auto stop/lift under ~$2,500

I have a vintage Denon DP-62L table with a few little quirks that I would like to get serviced eventually, but I am curious about options for a new table. I know automatic functions are out of style, especially in audiophile class stuff, but what is out there with auto stop? Don't care about other automatic functions.

I have a good Denon MC cart (Denon DL-301MK2) on my current table that I could move to the new one, though like I said I'm not retiring the DP-62L entirely. But I have some flexibility.

The new Technics SL-1500C has an auto lift feature.

I like to recommend the Yamaha PF-800/1000 when people ask about good auto stop & lift tables. Worth a look.

I’m not sure there is a whole lot out there around that price, in terms of buying new. The Technics mentioned above may be the best option within budget. Thorens has some nice looking options with auto-stop/lift but they’re at least $2K over the stated budget, I believe. Otherwise, it’s mostly cheaper, sub-$500 turntables.

There is this TEAC for $1800 but I’ve never heard any first-hand reviews of it:

The new Technics. SL 1500 C and the new SL-1200 GR2 also. There is another model, but I don't remember the model number. I Some are totally manual TT's with a good manual lift and set down lever that work. You just have to be looking staight down or directly in front of the tone arm to make sure when you drop the arm it will land where its supposed to land. My Rabco has auto lift at the end of the record, but I have to stand directly over the arm to make sure its positioned correctly when lowering the arm with a push of the button. I have only bent one cantilever beyond repair in the last 20 years as I remember. I destested the light weight SME arms. They were always getting away from me. in the 70's. The original 3009 and I got a long fine. I had Dual tables and Miracord and they were just noisy and subject to feed back, . B&O and 4000 and 8000 series I didn't like the sound of the cartridges. The Revox linear tables were interesting and the model that allowed a universal cartridge appealed to me, but I never bit the bullet. The SL 10 with the obsidian bass and magnesium tone arm was to big. I wanted a HRX but they were to big, too. For the HT system I have a Mark Levinson version of the VPI dragon with a gimbaled Fat boy arm and I really like it. You might be able to find some manual VPI's with in your budget pre-owned. But they are totally manual.
