Recommendations for replacement Kenwood KL-5080 12” woofer.

Hello all I have gotten a pretty complete set of Kenwood KL-5080 speakers. One woofer must have fried at some point and there was a Pyle Driver replacement with rotted foam. I am wanting to help a friend build a garage system and don’t need these to be original. Only performance without high cost. I’m figuring this Pyle is a Pyle of *** and money and time would be better spent on a replacement driver. Thanks for any and all help and opinions!! Have a great rest of the weekend!

Good thing this isn't going to be a critical application. It would be pretty difficult to find an exact replacement since it's for a ported cabinet. First, pull the other original woofer and measure the impedance with an ohm meter. Your replacement woofers (replace both) should have the same or as near as you can get. While it's probably not ideal, these should work and they won't cost that much.
