Record Store Day, The Dee Gees

[Arthur Smith]

Hi, I did not go on Saturday, but I stopped off at the record store yesterday. They had a lot left over from RSD. I picked up Miles Davis' Champions. What was out was The Foo Fighters' Dee Gees release, a Bee Gees tribute. I think their masterful version of "You Should Be Dancing" is the Record Of The Year.

Was anyone able to pick this up on RSD?

Just heard about this the other day. Definitely on my radar now. Dave Grohl is such a positive force in music.

I listened to the other tracks online at lunch. Fantastic. So respectful, and a loving tribute to the Brothers Gibb.

Doesn't surprise me. Dave Grohl's respectful to his elders, sets the bar for being one very cool cat. His treatment of Lemmy Kilmister at his funeral was a real tearjerker. Great guy.

At the live concert they recently did, and rolled out the Bee Gees songs, they even had a picture of Barry Gibb on the drum set. A very nice touch.
