I had a great day at the local record stores and thought I would share my most recent purchases with you guys, I spent the balance of the day listening to my new purchases and cleaning up some of the more shabby ones, all in all it was great to sit back and relax and enjoy some new music. I have funded my recent purchases by selling of my large DVD collection, I’ve sold about 50 DVD’s/Blu Ray’s out of a collection of a 1000 or more, I mentioned this to the guy in the record shop who confirmed my thoughts, like me he had a large DVD/Blu Ray collection and realised that over the course of let’s say a few years he realistically revisited a particular DVD/Blue ray maybe 2-3 times at most whereas most records he revisited countless amounts of times within the same period. I suppose it would be nice to collect both formats however unfortunately I just don’t have the room, how do you guys get on, do you find yourself listening to music more than watching films? Do you find it difficult to juggle both collections? Would be great to know your thoughts.
