Rectilinear XI - Crossovers and Tweeters?

Found a pair of Rectilinear XI speakers that I am looking to resurrect. Any advice that can be provided on replacing the crossovers and tweeters would be helpful.

Crossover: From the specifications I found so far (see below), the crossover is at 1800Hz at 8 ohms. I have not been able to find a direct donor set of Rectilinear XI crossovers on any of the auction sites. Any suggestions on another crossover that could work with these speakers?

Tweeter: I have seen a 4 1/4" Phenolic Ring Cone Tweeter T-135 on Simply Speakers that lists the Rectilinear XI speaker as a fit for these tweeters. Any thoughts on these tweeters

Here are the specifications I was able to find on the Rectilinear XI speakers. Any suggestions and recommendations would be helpful to getting these back in the playing rotation!

Hi prubino
I've restored a pair of XIs and a pair of the similar XIa's. Do you need an entire xo for some reason? The XI has a single 8.2 uF cap. Replace that with a film cap and you should be good to go.

Hi Kent,

Unfortunately, the speakers I acquired had the crossover and binding posts removed totally from the cabinet. This is the reason for searching for a complete crossover replacement.

I read through your thread on the restoration (thanks). My speakers also have the dreaded spikes on the woofers and also have protruding nails that hold the grill covers on.

Bummer. Sorry I don't have a schematic (or the value of that inductor) and I sold the speakers, so I don't have those, either. Guess the only thing is to watch ebay.

Hey! Just checked my parts box and I have 2 XIa crossovers. The inductors are 2.0mH and the resistors 8 ohms. I don't know if it's the same but here's a photo of the XI inductor. The XIa inductor looks different and is marked on the top "2.0MH 43507218".No resistor in the XI. The cap in the XI is 8.2uF. Don't know the L-pad specs.
