Rectilinear XI...score?

Hi list,

Picked up an astoundingly clean pair of Rectilinear XI yesterday ($6.00). They are larger than A-25, slightly smaller than Large Advent. I really like the sound. They seem more efficient than my A-25s...not sure I like 'em better yet, but they are better for rock. Score?

Heck yeah, you scored!! Rectilinear made very nice sounding speakers, and you certainly can't argue about the price you paid!!

An unqualified score! Yes, it is a highly respected speaker.

We never really saw Rectilinear up here in the Frozen North, they just never got good distribution here.

I have a pair, that are in my neices possesion, that I enjoyed very much when they were here. The grilles are 100% catproof! Not that I would have a cat in the house! (Don't flame me, cat lovers, I'm allergic to them. And dogs are better anyway! :D) very nice score!

I had pair of the 2 way XIa's, 2 pairs of the 3 way 12's,2 pairs of 4 way IIIA's
at various times.
used I think phillips drivers
The Rectilinear was it 5 had the tilted stand and was supposedly very clean.

Clean sound.
Brings back fond memories.

One of the few companies to use Tri-Wall shipping boxes...even to this day!!!!
 
Great score.... They are great little speakers. I've had mine running back in one of my systems for the last few months.
