Have you ever seen RTR tape with a deep red (almost purple) back? The oxide side is brown. No markings at all. The leader is BASF and it's on a green BASF reel, but I'm not 100% sure that leader splice is original and it's wound red leader out, green leader in, so it might not even belong onto that reel. Initially I thought some moron spliced two lengths of red leader to that tape just from the color of the tape!
The tape itself seems to be in fairly good shape, runs smoothly.
