Reel-to-reel: Tandberg vs. TEAC

ReVox G36 decks were sold new only one year in the USA, 1967. Late in 1967, the A 77 was introduced. Most G 36 decks were sold in Europe and even Canada. Teac also was first sold here in the USA in 1967 (earlier Teac products were sold here as American Concertones). The G36 was very expensive new and not too many in the USA. The Tandberg was sold here in the USA, but those were also very expensive machines as well. The 64X cost over $600 in 1964 money back then.
