Reference 450R By Quadraflex Tuner problem

I picked up this jewel off the bay for dirt cheap.. The problem Im having is when in FM mode when
I tune in a station it'll work for about 400 microseconds and the sound fades out. All other functions work Tape etc.. and sound pretty good.. This isnt a high powered unit but it just looked cool thats why I bought it on the cheap. Has anyone else experienced fading out when tuning in channels in FM?
That, and good luck finding a manual for this thing..lol
Its packed pretty full of boards and such. So its going to be a bear to service it.
Any pointers would be appreciated..

When I got into vintage equipment I got a 450r to learn on (talk about going in head first and blind). It had blown outputs. I got much help here on AK and got it fixed and working excellent and I still have it. I searched high and low for info on the reference series and couldn't find much info at all. I contacted the guy (cant remember his name) at tapeheads but he really wouldn't help me out. I think he just wants people to send him the equipment and have him repair it.

I know that some of the concept series receivers have some of the same boards as the reference series but not sure how much. As far as the tuner problem I can't help, don't know enough about tuners. But if you need some reference voltages to help troubleshoot I can pull my receiver out of storage and check mine to compare to yours if needed.

I gave up on the tuner, but found two resistors burned on each channel..R743 and R744.. I was watching a video on a repair of a FET receiver and the resistors I mentioned look like theyre 10 ohms. They appear to be Brown, Black, Black, Gold ,White (or Silver) Anyone have a 450R they can check the values for me so I'll know what to order?
