Reference Series Generations explained??

Hello AK'ers! I'm new to the forum and fairly new to Klipsch, but recently heard some at a small restaurant in town and am intrigued by them. Now, this wasn't a proper test drive or anything like that, but i figure I need to get them into my home to really asses either way.... so now I'm looking to find a gently used pair of bookshelves to see if it really is my thing and am a bit confused by all the different tiers.

Looking at the various generations of the Reference Series, it seems things have changed over time with a pretty substantial shift recently. Specifically I am hoping someone will be able to give the gist of what the changed between generations are both from a technical perspective as well as practical (i.e. Reference II is a huge step up from the original Reference due to [insert facts here] but I still like the looks of the originals better). Any specific models to look for or stay away from would be great as well!

As always, your thoughts and advice are much appreciated.

@Sakas , you would get more responses if you create your own post in this Klipsch forum with its own title. Then ask your questions there. You’re bound to receive many responses.
Welcome to AK!
I'm new to the forum here, so any guidance is much appreciated- thank you!

I thought I had created a new post with an original title, but perhaps I'm misunderstanding...

Oops, my bad! You did good. I deleted that silly post!

You may want to do a word search in the upper right hand corner below your user name. Do the search while you are on the Klipsch forum, making sure you keep the box "Search this forum only" checked. Use key words like "reference series" or "heritage series" or "Heresy" to search for possibly multitudes of posts written on the subject by out AK members.

I don't know much about the Reference Series, so can't help you there. I only have some knowledge on the Heritage series, having owned several of them at one time or another.
