Rega Brio buzz problem

Hi folks. I bought myself a very reasonably priced 2nd hand Brio and I can see what the fuss is about. I love the sound of this thing.
But......and I've seen a few reports of this, I am getting a slight buzz through the speakers and, more noticeably through headphones.

Has anyone dealt with this successfully? I've unplugged everything and still get it through (various different) headphones.
Tried a different power lead, no improvement.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

When you say you unplugged everything, you mean you only had power and speakers attached (no source line in's) and it still buzzed?

Have you tried a different outlet?

Yes, even with no speaker cable connected there's a buzz through the headphones.
It's bearable from the speakers but not with the phones.
Tried different outlet and different power cable so it's likely power supply?

A shorting plug on the unused rca input jacks grounds them. This prevents stray emf from possibly entering the unit and being amplified. It often can make improvements, especially on unused phono inputs.
Do a search here and you’ll find more info.

Common to both of the pre-amps and both of the power amplifiers is the power supply. C1 and C2 , D1 and D2 , BR1 and the two large 6800µf filter caps..
