Rega plinth

I have made a custom Rega turntable from upgrade parts over a couple of years, buying parts as I could afford them, I have even made my own plinths, some are big and heavy versions made from solid wood and some are box-framed construction, but I would like to try the newer plinth made by Rega and used on the P6 models and above, so the question is can they be purchased and where from?

Rega is very protective of their distribution channels so I don't think you will easily find parts like that. However there are many aftermarket suppliers for Rega compatible parts so you might find a similar or related plinth, or just make your own. It's not rocket science.

Thanks for your comments, I wanted to find out what was so good about these new foam based plinths that Rega have introduced, but I have seen reports of them sagging, and that has put me off them a bit,
