All original Rek O Kut, everything works but does not have a plinth. Any idea of the value? I'd rather not part it out because it's so cool looking. Thanks in advance.

Should we assume it's in original, unrestored condition? Is it an S-120 arm? A picture would be helpful.

Here are some pictures and yes, all original. It’s a great looking tt.

Wow, that is is nice shape. If I had that and wanted to move it along, I'd have to decide is I wanted to sell it for maximum dollar, or pass it along to an appreciative hobbyist. That's how I got my Rondine Jr and 120 arm; AK members who were very generous with their pricing, helping me to get a project going inexpensively. IIRC, I got the set for under $200. But what you have is more valuable than that IMO. Hypothetically, I would list that one on the open market for around $700 and wait. I still had it after a couple months, I'd lower the price every few weeks until it sold. Either that, or I'd pack it away in a closet and wait for the right person to come along to offer to them cheap as a gesture of kindness.

Brett - Thanks for the info and advice. It's such a neat looking table that I've considered fixing it up and keeping it but not sure. I might put ask the Rek folks to see how much work needs to be done. Thanks again.

You should find a lot of reading here at AK and other places on line about those 'tables. Many people have restored them and parts are available. You might just consider getting it up and running yourself, They are simple machines and it won't lose value as long as you have it. An important thing to do, performance wise, is get a new idler wheel. Even if that one looks and measures good, the rubber dries out over time and the harder rubber creates and awful rumble as they play. A new wheel will lower the noise floor. Rebuilt idlers can be gotten from Voice of Music and Turntable Basics and maybe other places.

Are bases available or getting them built. I can and will service even if I pass it along but building a base might be a bridge too far. Great advice about the idler wheel. I had to do the same for a Dual TT. Thanks again.

That, I don't know. I built mine, as have the others I've known. If you know someone with woodworking tools, maybe they could build one sufficient to get it going for not much money.
