Rek-O-Kut CVS-14...anyone heard one of these?

I came across this turntable on Needle Doctor. Has anyone used or heard one of these? It looks a lot like the Technics SL-1200. The continuously variable speed has me particularly intrigued.

Ha! Doesn't look like any Rec-O-Kut built 50 years ago to me. Appears to be yet-another-SL-1200 knockoff.

Whew, the 3D-spreadsheet MBA types dilute another brand into dreck.....

If you don't need the vertical cut option the Audio Technica 120Lp is the same table for about a third the price.
