Relays - What you have & What to Replace it with.

Hi all

I know there was some work done on this before, by many, and much greater minds than I.
I thought it would be a good idea to get people to list their gear and the specific modern replacement they used when replacing worn out or dodgy relays.

I recently replaced relay in an Onkyo A7090 with this part - Omron MY2-02-DC12 - No modification necessary, drop in replacement.

I would be amenable to trying to keep an updated spreadsheet, listing the make and model number of the gear in question, a picture of the original relay, transcription of the text on the casing, and the relevant modern replacement.
Obviously this will be available to everyone

I have no idea if this will work, or if the idea will fly, and i certainly am not trying to step on any toes etc.

I Just want to try give something back to the community, because thats what AK is, a community.
Especially as i feel i am always taking from AK and not giving, knowledge is very limited but i do try.

I think it's a great idea, though it may need to be more general than specific units. Most of the BOMs list them if there's a suggested replacement AFAIK. But I'm sure there were some relays that were almost used as a generic part in gear of that era. Problem is, most companies used house part numbers for things. So, it may end up being something like: Pioneer models (all that apply) ... Relay Number... Mouser part number.... digikey part number...
 
I have seen marks post and a few others too, as always comprehensive and detailed
I know from service manuals most companies gave everything a generic number etc. My thinking was generally you have to open the hood and physically check the relay to figure out how many pins,voltage etc.
I a going to go through those posts as time permits and try turn it into a quick reference guide for anyone who needs it.
Just thought it would be great if we could start assigning specific replacements for as many units as possible
