Yes, excellent drivers and horns. The SSD1800/1801 sound great. The 1801 are supposed to have slightly better HF extension than the 1800, but they sound about the same to me.
I would put them in the same league as the Altec 902.

Also the 2" SSD-3301 sound very good, and are better IMO than the JBL 2445.

I use some of the smaller magnet SSD-1400 in my small Altecs (those drivers plus Altec 414b woofers). Those sound nice.

I forgot to add, the only downside to any of these classic Renkus drivers is the diaphragms are NLA.

At least with the Emilar drivers, Radian still makes factory equivalent diaphragms.

It would be nice if someone would make factory equivalent R-H diaphragms. I was fortunate enough to track down one NOS part when I needed one, and was able to repair a bad terminal on the other.

Yes it would be great if someone would make some replacement diaphragms. As it is now, the driver bodies are basically worthless if the diaphragm is blown.

It's unfortunate, because they are great sounding drivers.
