Hello! Been a member for a long while, but haven't been on in a very long time.
I have the full Heathkit Professional set w/AA-1800 amplifier and a DUAL turntable.
Does anyone know of a place somewhere within a few hours drive of Knoxville, TN (or The Villages, FL) where I can take the various pieces to be serviced? They need a general clean up and look over as all pieces function, but have static, drop outs, etc.
For all but 2 of the pieces, I know who built them, and he was a most meticulous gentleman.
I don't expect this to be an inexpensive endeavor. I know it's going to cost me to get everything up and in in tip-top shape.
