Repair Shop: Maryland, Montgomery County / Frederick Area?

Can anyone refer me to an electronics repair shop / person in the Maryland - Montgomery / Frederick county area? Repair needed for newer (black) Yamaha home theatre receiver RX-V590. Unit experienced a power surge during a storm and immediately shuts off now when powered on. (protection mode?)

It is not worth much, IMO, but if I can salavage it cheaply, I will use it somewhere in the house.

If anyone works on these, I would be glad to bring it to you for repair.

Some Spanish dude advertise in the electronic section of Craig'slist does repair, but never used him before, won't hurt to ask.
