repairing small tear in foam???

I picked up a pair of Epicure 3's but one of the woofers has a very small tear (1/4") in the foam. Is there a repair for this short of a total refoam. I don't play loud volume so in your experiences, is this likely to get larger and can I stop it now? thanks

Judging by the age of those drivers, you're seeing the tip of the iceberg and will need both refoamed, which is expected, not unusual. That foam is probably so old and crumbly that it won't hold up to the handling you give it trying to glue it.

Try poking the foam gently with your finger; it probably will go straight through with very little pressure. Do a search for "Refoam"; you'll find all the info you'll ever need to DIY it.
