Replace balance slider or bypass the feature?

I have Marantz 2216 receiver with malfunctioning balance slider. It cuts in and out and scratches like crazy. I have tried Deoxit on it but it did not help. I am assuming that the pot is beyond repair.

The slider is marked as R007 on the schematic and the part # is RX05040020.

Anybody has an idea where to find a replacement slider pot or maybe how to bypass the balance feature all together?
