Replace Belt on Onkyo TA-2055

I just obtained an Onkyo TA-2055 cassette deck. It played a second and stopped (the tape moves a bit and stops). Fwd and Rwd did not do anything. My guess is the belt is bad. I am searching for 'how to' in Youtube, but I found nothing regarding replacing belt on TA-2055 but the other Onkyo cassette decks.

Is there any Onkyo cassette deck that is similar to TA-2055 that I can watch and tell me how to replace the belt?
Or can someone post me a link that lead to 'how to' replacing the belt?

Similar: TA-2066 and in a way TA-2050 and 2060. But these, and your 2055, are direct drive decks ... no belts.

There is a belt for back tension, but that does not cause your problem. Replace it anyway, with SCY3.2 or SCX3.2.

Your problem is caused by a slipping idler tyre. It is a Sankyo drive, so replace with a suitable tyre as advertised for Nakamichi and other Sankyo-based decks (BX, CR, CD, DR series, not the classic Naks).

Also likely is that you cam motor has dead-spotted. If not now, it will soon.

Is it worth to repair it? I can do it if I have a video to watch. Without instruction video, I am just like a blind person.
 
Definitely worth it, but both tyre replacement and repair of cam motor are a bit finicky, even slightly risky. Better search assistance from experienced hands.

I got stuck on removing the front door. There is no video to help me. Find one on TA-2060 but it did not help much.

I did remove the cassette door. I see the idle tyre. There is no belt. How do I remove/replace the idle tyre?

That video is butchery.

The washer can be secured by doing all work under cover of piece of clear sticky tape. The washer will stick to it until the time you have to place it back.

A new tyre should be lightly sanded before use, then cleaned with IPA. The reel hubs also have to be cleaned with IPA, but don't spill onto their backsides, because there are painted-on patterns for the motion detector(s).

When replacing the washer the idler's arm must be supported, e.g by sticking a small screwdriver beneath it. If that (plastic) arm breaks it means game over.

In Onkyo's the plastic reel motor pulley often has a small internal crack. It will start moving on the shaft and loose its capability for transferring torque.
