Replacement capacitor recommendation...

I'm recapping this little Wondergram portable turntable and need some recommendations on a good replacement for the capacitor (from the built-in amplifier) in this pic...



I can find 10uf, 16VDC axial capacitors on mouser, but I don't know if that's an acceptable replacement.

Follow-up question...are there "audio grade" capacitors? If so, what do I look for as far as specifications. If not are there certain characteristics I should avoid.

I can't tell from the picture if this is a polarized or non polar capacitor. Might want to check that, don't replace a non polar cap with a polarized one.

As for audio caps I generally only use them when they are in the signal path. Caps in turntables are usually not in the signal path.

Ok, new caps and its alive! Not Hi-Fi, but will look cool on the corner of my desk at work.

Ended up doing the 100 uf on the motor and speaker as well as the 10 uf on the amp. Cleaned the tires and lubricated. Keeps great speed...tracking at over 10 grams. Still needs alot of adjustment.

Haven't tried to clean up or do any cosmetic repairs yet. I'll be pulling apart again and mending the plastic case, which looks like it was run over by a truck. Will give it a good polish and post an update.
