I have a wonderful, functional Sony STR GX9ES. Unfortunately, at some point in its life an owner decided to scrub the faceplate of any and all text. I've mostly learned what each knob and button does, but it's still a pain in the ass. If it was 1989, I'd ask Sony for a replacement, but then again in 1989 I wouldn't be stupid enough to deface my brand new $1,000 receiver.
Where on earth am I going to find a fresh one? I've looked around for donors on several websites like Offerup, but the only listing I could find was a few years old and the poster hasn't replied. Plus, if I found another GX9ES in better shape I'd just use it instead, wasting the one I've got.
