Replacement RCA Cables on SL-1300?

First, I would like to say, I have an SL-1500, not an SL-1300. Brain glitch when I started the thread.

Just got the Petra cables in (chose 6ft length).

Amazing improvement across the sound spectrum! More bass especially, but also an improvement in the mids and highs!

Can't hardly wait to get the Jico SAS stylus to get in! Should have been here already, but the snowstorm in Colorado has holds it up according to UPS.

Going to now go ahead and replace the RCA cables on my other 2 tts too.

The only concern from some was the 50ft cables a couple of years ago were not coming with gold plated RCA plugs. The ones I just got in did, but I was ready with gold plated connectors if they didn't.

You won't be disappointed in swapping out the cables.

So how long are the cables you installed? Did you cut them down to 3 foot lengths?

For my needs, I went with 6 ft cut off the roll. (By the time I finished several solder attempts, I was down to 5 1/2 ft.) In a perfect world, most argue for 3 ft, but my setup needs dictated my length.

Sorry to bring up an old thread. I want to upgrade the RCA cables on my SL1300.
I know a lot of time has passed since this thread started. So I'm thinking that there should be newer better solutions.
I purchased a good quality recap kit for the TT. While I'm in there, I might as well upgrade the cables.
Could you more knowledge people than myself help me out with some suggestions, perhaps links?

If I understand you correctly, I like these (see below) -
Consider giving Kevin @ KAB a call, tell him 1300 & what you want, he will sort it.

What I did was drill a couple of holes by where the cables come out and screwed on some RCA jacks, connecting a small section of the original cables to them, but making sure they measured 0 resistance. I can now use any cable type/ length.
