Replacement relay for Mitsubishi DA-P10???

I've finally narrowed down the cause of the left channel being out on my DA-P10 - its the Hitachi reed relay that is bad.
Now the hard part - anyone know where I can find a replacement???
I have found nothing on internet searches.
Any help is greatly appreciated! My system has been down since January!!

I was wondering what those little green guys were. You might have to find a same voltage/poles relay and wire it in. Do you know the specs?

You do realize that those reed relays were never used in the audio output of amplifiers. Those are mainly used for FM muting in tuner circuits.

P-10 is a pre-amp. No FM.
What does it do there? Just curious.

Assumed it was a receiver. Never looked it up. Most reed relays are used in the tuning sections of receivers/tuners. Never saw one used in a preamp before.

It's used as a delay for the preamp power on. It waits until power is ok in the preamp as to prevent a "pop" being sent to the amp.

Yamaha uses reed relays in just about every preamp they make..:yes: Pioneer uses them in there bias circuit of there SPEC power amps .

If you don't mind the possibility of having to mount a new relay 'dead bug' style, then all you have to do is determine the pinout (form factor, SPST, DPST, DPDT, etc.) of the original and its voltage, and the coil resistance of the original (to avoid asking too much of the driving circuitry).

Super old thread, but I'm looking at the same issue. Have this preamp and a previous tech actually replaced relay 901 once before and the replacement failed. I've pinned the voltages but wanted to see if OP found a good solution before I go soldering resistors onto a modern relay?
