Replacing a cracked flywheel? (JVC KD-V6)

I am trying to restore a JVC KD-V6 to working condition (as a cassette novice), and the flywheel is cracked which I think is the cause of it wobbling when playing. It's not falling apart by any means but there is a crack going all the way around on the side facing the back of the deck, and a crack going all the way around the curved surface. I can attach a picture if needed but regardless it seems I have a few options, based on what I've read online:

- Fill the cracks with JB Weld or similar epoxy then hope the flywheel stays balanced - of course this one is already wobbling so epoxy or not I'll have to figure out how to get it running smoothly again.

- Find a replacement flywheel/mechanism, or get a machine shop to make one - I couldn't find any KD-V6 parts online and it seems like flywheels aren't a very interchangeable part, but maybe it is possible to substitute one from a different JVC model? The machine shop option sounds a little above my budget.

I guess my main question is whether anyone has ever actually successfully done the epoxy thing? and is it possible to get it spin balanced again or is this thing probably a lost cause? really hoping I don't have to give up on this guy cause I love the look of its meters (and it allegedly sounds great in good condition). Check out the KD V66 for parts, they are more plentiful and I think they are essentially the same

Probably diecast rot. Replace flywheel axle assembly
