Replacing Adcom transistors

I am trying to repair an Adcom gfa 535 whose right channel has a DC offset of 47.9 V :yikes:

I have found two transistors that tested bad and would like to replace all the transistors on that channel as I have read that the others will likely have been stressed.

Problem:

It's seems Adcom used it's own part numbers and I don't feel confident ordering something with numbers that are close.

Anyone done this sort of thing before?

How can I find proper replacements?

If it is an item that is out of production for some time, why wouldn't Adcom give you any info about what trans. to use? I suppose they try to keep recent products or products in warranty in their system, using dealers or their own repairs, but on something that has been out there for a long time they might just give you the info so they do not have to support it in-house. You are saying they do not have standard type Japanese transistor part numbers?
 
This may be dumb but I was under the impression that Adcom serviced their own equipment and therefor would not sell me the parts direct. If that is not the case then obviously I should contact them. Probably should have tried that first but I was also hoping that someone here would have done this before and could lend further advice.

They do have numbers but after doing a couple hours of web search I couldn't find a match. Close but no match.

I was told that the numbers on the Adcom parts are proprietary and not the standard numbers that the rest of the market would use.

PS How's ol A2? I used to live in ypsi and I kinda miss the Blind Pig and Wazoo

Are you sure about the Adcom only numbers? Post the numbers here if you can.
 
Output transistors (I think): D 1047 (and below: E 6M)

Power transistors (I think): B 817 (and below: E 7A)



And no, I'm not sure about the number thing. I was told that in (gasp...) another forum.
