That's a very different application. I'm told by reliable folk that a rubber-restorer fix for a dried-out idler is temporary because the softened top layer of rubber eventually wears away. How long will it last? I don't know....I've never had a problem with hardened suspensions, but thanks to this thread, I'm buying a bottle of the Rawn Re-Grip to use on the idler wheel of a Elac Miracord I have been refurbishing...
