Replicating Sound Technology 1000A Dual Sweep functionality

I am selling my ST-1000a next week, since I don't work on tuners all that much and have plenty of other (better?) gear to handle any alignment needs. I did like the unique visual dual sweep alignment function it provided, though.

I was able to replicate the signal generation but it took quite a bit of gear.
1. Rohde & Schwarz SML-01 (used to generate the main RF carrier - in this case 98.5 MHz - 500KHz above what I am tuned to on the tuner since I am using a 500KHz if from the 8904A to the mixer) Any RF generator could be used for this.
2. HP 8904A with option 001 and 002 - I am using all 4 internal generators as well as both physical outputs.
3. HP 10534A mixer

The HP 8904a is generating 4 signals.
Channel A: 500 KHz sine wave, 100mv, output 1 - this is the IF that goes into the X port on the mixer from port 1 on the 8904a.
Channel B: 60 Hz triangle wave modulated @ 300KHz on Channel A (this corresponds to the sweep width on the ST-1000A which is 0-600KHz - I picked a mid point for now)
Channel C: 10 KHz sine wave FM modulated at 8 KHz on Channel A. The documentation I read said they modulated it at 10 KHz but I measured ~8KHz from the ST-1000A on my spectrum analyzer
Channel D: 60 Hz sinewave, 10v (unterminated output) out channel 2. This connects to the oscilloscope's horizontal amplifier. This could be a lower voltage and adjust the oscilloscope sensitivity, but im matching it to the 1000A for now. Adjusting the phase on this is the same as using the phase knob on the ST-1000A.

There is one missing piece. Currently I need to run the output from the receiver thru the ST-1000A to filter/condition it before going into the scopes vertical amplifier. I will need to build a small box to replicate that functionality. (Shown in the 2nd screenshot).

Will I ever bother setting this up? Probably not, but I wanted to at least document it before the ST-1000A is out of my hands.
