Somebody here recommended WorldWide Stereo in Montgomeryville and Ardmore. They still do repairs, and have a nice website with plenty of info about their company.
I'm thinking of taking my Marantz there.
Found some negative reviews online of Soundex, Goodman's, and Mayfair.
For a turntable someone on Yelp suggested a place on Penn's campus called The Marvelous. 208 S. 40th Street.
Good Luck and post an update review of any service you use! We need to boost Philly's audio karma!

+1 for WorldWide Stereo. Bob B over there repaired a whole bunch of gear for me in the early 2000s and I was always very impressed with the quality of work he did.
IIRC he worked out of the Ardmore location, but that may have changed. Quality outfit though, you should give them a call
