Curious if anyone out there has ever had a chance to listen to and compare the Axiom M60 and B&W 683 ?
Reviews and comments for both of these floor standing speakers are generally quite good at their respective
price points. I do realize they are at different price points.
Physical size, number of drivers, sensitivity, impedance and frequency response are comparable (on paper).
Note: I am aware that the B&W 683 with its FST mid-range driver is a more expensive speaker so maybe
this is like comparing apples and oranges? Where I live, the 683 retails for about $1800 CDN whereas the
M60 is about $1000 (factory direct).
Due to the difference in price perhaps the M60 and 683 are in different leagues? Curious how they compare?
I realize that listening in person is the ultimate test. However any impressions, comments or comparisons of
these speakers would be appreciated.
