I like when it starts getting to the higher frequencies, and the horizontal and the vertical don't break up at the same rate. And sometimes it's not symmetrical at all.

So...

If I took any woofer I had laying around and found some plexiglass/lexan I could do this with sand? Build a sand/granule catch for the outer edges?
If it has to be at those levels in the video... That's going to hurt the ears and not worth doing.

Thoughts?

its amazing what shapes the sound produces...i'd want to try mixing sand , salt and sugar granules to see if anything really complex emerges
