Restoration Log on HD66 Speakers

After acquiring some HD66 speakers from the original owner, I decided to do some restoration work on them as they had RadioShack Subwoofers in them instead of OEM ones. So lucky enough, I found some OEM parts on ebay and installed them this week. This includes the knobs, the woofers, and plastic covers. The lot also came with the crossovers, EQ pots, and mids as well in case something else fails. Seem to be working great so far, next steps are both foam grills and foam plugs, though I don't expect to ever find OEM grills or plugs left for an uncommon to rare speaker. If anyone has a line on plugs, please let me know.

What they look like after the repair.

And what they used to look like here.

Fortunately, a good spray of deoxit was all the pots needed on these. I am not entirely familiar with the Ed May sound, but so far I'm rather impressed with these when hooked up to my 2216B.
