I did a web search for a schematic, I found a nice large easy to read schematic but its a different version than I have. In the schematic I found there is a quad 50uF cap that has 125 ohm resistors across it, in the one on my bench they are different. The serial number is: 23893D. This unit uses 3 x 180 ohm at 3 watt resistors. This amp also has a 1uF electrolytic cap in the FM section not shown on the schematic I found. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!!

According to your serial number this is your guy. Has the four 50’s but it reads a trio of 180 resistors. You should ask a mod to move this to the Fisher forum.

I just found a Fisher 500b with Serial Number 32507 k . Anyone know its date of manufacture + what Manual / Schematic matches?
