Good Morning Folks, I've been having Blaine ( blhagstrom ) rebuild my Quad II amplifiers after one blew its power tranny. Both amps now have the trannies that have been rewound so they can easily handle the 120 house current. Since they need to be retubed with fresh output tubes I was seeking advice on;
1) Which output tubes do you recommend ? 6l6gc or KT66?
2) Which brand do you recommend? Which to stay away from?
